Antonio, otro padre de Atlanta, se hizo eco de sus sentimientos: \"Es estresante. La primera prioridad va a ser pagar la comida y el agua, con lo que sobrevivimos\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanto Ava como Antonio hacen lo correcto para que sus familias tengan lo esencial. Pero el aumento de los costes les ha atrapado en una pauta de vivir de cheque en cheque, incapaces de salir adelante. Adeline y su marido criaban a sus tres nietos. Hac\u00edan un presupuesto cuidadoso, confiando en los ingresos de su marido y en que Adeline se quedaba en casa para ahorrar dinero en el cuidado de los ni\u00f1os, hasta que una lesi\u00f3n laboral le hizo perder el trabajo. Las facturas y los gastos no tardaron en acumularse, mientras Adeline buscaba trabajo. Adeline consigui\u00f3 el empleo y ahora trabaja como encargada de tienda, recuperando su puesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y esa es la buena noticia sobre el ciclo de la pobreza: no es inquebrantable. A veces, todo lo que se necesita es un poco de apoyo desde fuera: alguien que tienda la mano y salve la brecha entre una paga perdida o una emergencia familiar, o simplemente que garantice que las necesidades b\u00e1sicas de una familia est\u00e1n cubiertas para que puedan empezar a salir adelante, en lugar de pasar otro mes m\u00e1s con lo m\u00ednimo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
